Drop Weight or Drop Dead

Celebrate My Inner Child

I get that it might sound cliche at this point to chat up the inner child often mentioned in popular psychology - but I will take the risk of sounding cliche.


Today I will celebrate my inner child

  • I choose happiness
  • I swim, which I loved and still love
  • I listen to my body's cues of hunger
  • I communicate with my family - they were there when I was a child
  • I give myself small presents to have something to look forward to
  • I make sure I eat vegetables! {the vegetables that I like to eat anyway}
  • I allow myself moments of silliness
  • I take short naps when fatigued
  • I have a bedtime routine to aide better sleep
  • I ask for help when appropriate
